Gartner recently released this year’s Magic Quadrant for Full Life Cycle API Management and named MuleSoft a Leader for the fourth year in a row.

What are APIs and why should my business care?

Organizations today need the speed and agility to survive in an increasingly distributed landscape of applications, data sources, and devices. Many use APIs to connect these distributed components in order to streamline operations, improve customer experiences, and quickly deliver new products and services to market.

More recently, APIs have become the standard way for organizations to expose business capabilities out to a broader ecosystem of developers, partners, and employees to deliver new value to customers. We call this the API economy, and with a well-defined API strategy and the right API integration platform, businesses are generating more revenue, delivering stronger outcomes, and transforming the way they do business.

How an API strategy generates business value

By using APIs to unlock data and process across nearly any system or application — regardless of format or source — MuleSoft customers connect their technology building blocks in a standardized way. As a result, their digital assets become pluggable and reusable, creating an application network that is scalable and flexible by design.

By productizing APIs and building reusable APIs on top of each technology asset, business innovators can create differentiated consumer experiences, efficient business models, and brand new revenue channels at scale. Anypoint Platform enables the entire API lifecycle from production to consumption, with full software development lifecycle management, personalization, forums, chat, support case management, and engagement analytics so that a wide range of stakeholders can collaborate on these APIs to drive developer engagement and generate business value.

Leading API management + integration platform as a service

Not only is MuleSoft a Leader in Gartner’s API Management for the fourth year in a row, but we’re also a Leader in their iPaaS Magic Quadrant. MuleSoft is the only company named a Leader in both Magic Quadrants.

What does that mean for customers? MuleSoft is a powerful engine for enterprise digital transformation, combining the best of API and integration capabilities in a single platform to drive a seamless and unified experience across the full API lifecycle. An investment in integration is an investment in creating an innovative, agile, and scalable business. MuleSoft helps organizations achieve this.

When businesses consider “integration,” MuleSoft should be top of mind. Gartner selected us as a Leader based on completeness of our vision and our ability to execute in both Quadrants. This placement within the two Quadrants validates that our product exceeds our customer’s expectations and is on a path toward continued success.
